Monster Scholarship for Graduate Students

Deadline: November 2, 2003
Award amount: $2,500

You've seen first-hand the rigors and challenges of the academic life. Your goal is to get your post-graduate degree while maintaining your sanity.

One of the many challenges to staying sane and balanced is funding. Do you get a job to support yourself and will you have time for that? Do you apply for a fellowship knowing that you're responsible for teaching four classes of thirty students per week along with your own scholarly pursuits?

It takes a lot of money and time to complete your degree. That's why we created the Monster Scholars program.

What We Need From You
In a 250-500 word essay, we want to hear how you've never settled as you've worked to achieve your goals. We want to hear about what kind of jobs you've held that have had nothing even remotely to do with your degree, but in the end, you learned something from the job that, in turn, benefited your academic pursuits. Whatever it is, we want to hear about it and what you've learned along the way. We want to know how, through your employment, you've embraced your "Inner Monster"!

Applications will be judged on academics, leadership, service, writing quality and essay content. Click on the 'Apply Now' button to go to the online application form.

Good luck Monster Scholar!
