Monster Scholarship for Art, Humanities, Social Science & Education
Deadline: March 19, 2004
Award amount: $2,500
You've seen first-hand the importance of education in your life. A good education will
open doors, lead to opportunities and give you greater life choices.
But sometimes choices are limited by not having enough money for an education. It takes a lot
of money to get the schooling necessary to realize your dreams. That's why we created the Monster Scholars program.
Today's the Day
Today's the day. How often have you heard that phrase? Your parents, your teachers and your older siblings
have used this phrase to make a point, mostly a point you probably didn't want to hear. We're here to tell you it's
true. Today is the day to create change in your life. Today is the day that you look ahead to finding that ideal
job. But one thing is necessary: a college education. That's where we come in. In a 250-500 word essay, tell us
how you will act upon the idea that "Today's the Day." What will you do with today? What does that mean for
tomorrow? Tell us. We'd like to hear from you and maybe you'll receive a Monster Scholars Scholarship along the
way to help your ideas about today become your reality for tomorrow.
Applications will be judged on academics, school and community involvement, work experience, essay quality and
content. Click on the 'Apply Now' button to go to the online application form.
