Monster Scholarship for Government & Public Service

Deadline: March 19, 2004
Award amount: $2,500

You've seen first-hand the importance of education in your life. A good education will open doors, lead to opportunities and give you greater life choices.

But sometimes choices are limited by not having enough money for an education. It takes a lot of money to get the schooling necessary to realize your dreams. That's why we created the Monster Scholars program.

Today's the Day
Last year you volunteered time to AmeriCorps and this year, when you're not doing your schoolwork, you watch everything that has to do with government on the History Channel. Since you were five, you knew that you wanted to devote your life and your career to making a difference; you're just waiting to get through your education so you can be there. Well, today's the day. Carpe Diem. Seize your dreams and don't let go. In a 250-500 word essay, tell us about your dream job, about what you will be doing and how you will be doing it once you get there. We're looking to you to tell us how you want your world to be. And in the process, you may be a recipient of a Monster Scholars Scholarship.

Applications will be judged on academics, school and community involvement, work experience, essay quality and content. Click on the 'Apply Now' button to go to the online application form.

Good luck Monster Scholar!
